Two a.m., and I’m wide awake. I’m not exactly sure why my body feels it needs to be awake at this exact time every morning. Some days I can fall asleep again, some days I’ll stay awake til the sun rises over the tallest house in the neighborhood.
Tylenol PM be damned. I can stay awake through that stuff too.
I’m a Louisiana girl who fell in love with running for her health and her sanity. However, due to being a single-parent household with four little ones, there is never an opportunity to log the miles needed.
I run for my sanity. I’m an Army veteran with a turbulent past that, surprisingly, didn’t come from my time in combat boots. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety disorder, and a whole lot of awesomeness. Running isn’t just a hobby or something fun to do on the weekends, it’s been a lifesaver.
